At Drive It School of Motoring, we're passionate about helping learners become safe, confident and responsible drivers for life. While every driving test pass is worth celebrating, some achievements stand out above the rest.
Over the past two days, we've celebrated something truly special - three learners passing their driving tests FIRST TIME with ZERO DRIVER FAULTS. Achieving a clean sheet on a practical driving test is a remarkable accomplishment, demonstrating not only the ability to meet the DVSA standard but to exceed it with consistently safe, confident and well-planned driving.
Three Fault Free Outstanding First Time Passes at Drive It School of Motoring
Lucie - Minehead
Lucie completed one of our five-day intensive driving courses with Drive It Paul, and what an incredible result it produced.
Learning to drive in such a short period requires commitment, focus and determination, and Lucie embraced every challenge from the very first lesson. On test day she delivered a composed, confident drive, impressing the examiner throughout. To round off an exceptional performance, she confidently completed a reverse parking manoeuvre into a busy car park before finishing her test with ZERO DRIVER FAULTS.
Passing first time after only five days of intensive tuition is an outstanding achievement in itself. Doing so with a completely clean sheet makes it even more remarkable.
Charlie - Minehead
Joining Lucie in celebrating success was Charlie, who also achieved a first-time pass with zero driver faults after training with Drive It Paul.
Charlie's driving test included a variety of challenges, including a perfectly executed parallel park and an emergency stop, both completed calmly and confidently. Throughout the drive he demonstrated excellent awareness, anticipation and decision-making, earning a flawless result and fantastic praise from the examiner at the end of the test.
His performance showed exactly why our coaching focuses on creating safe drivers rather than simply teaching learners how to pass a test.
Ryan - Taunton
Completing the incredible hat-trick was Ryan from Taunton, who passed FIRST TIME with ZERO DRIVER FAULTS after expert coaching from Drive It Simon.
Ryan approached every lesson with a fantastic attitude and a real desire to become the best driver he could be. On test day he produced a polished, confident drive, making excellent decisions from start to finish and leaving the examiner with nothing to mark down.
The examiner's glowing feedback reflected the exceptionally high standard Ryan demonstrated throughout the test, making his fault-free first-time pass even more rewarding.
Why Are Zero Driver Fault Passes So Special?
Many learners ask what it means to receive zero driver faults, often referred to as a clean sheet.
During every practical driving test, the examiner assesses how safely and competently a candidate deals with a wide range of road and traffic situations. Even small mistakes can result in driver faults being recorded.
Receiving zero driver faults means the examiner did not identify a single mistake throughout the entire test. It represents an exceptionally high standard of driving and is something relatively few candidates achieve.
To have three learners achieve this milestone in just two days, all while passing first time, is something everyone at Drive It School of Motoring is incredibly proud of.
Coaching Drivers for Life
At Drive It School of Motoring, our philosophy has always been simple.
We don't teach people how to scrape through a driving test.
We coach people to become safe, confident and independent drivers for life.
Whether a learner chooses weekly lessons, semi-intensive tuition or one of our popular intensive driving courses, every lesson is designed to develop real-world driving skills, hazard awareness, forward planning and confident decision-making that will continue long after the test has been passed.
Results like these are only possible because of the dedication shown by our learners and the commitment of our instructors to delivering the highest standards of coaching every day.
